Adventures by Disney are expanding their offerings by included the first-ever dedicated expedition cruises. Starting in late 2021, travelers will have the opportunity to voyage to Antarctica and the Galapagos in 2022. These adventures will open for booking January 2021.
There will be 2 12-day adventures released that will have land and sea portions, including cruising with PONANT offered that travel the Antarctic Peninsula, Antarctica and Patagonia Expedition Cruise. These are offered on December 20, 2021 and January 30, 2022.
You will have all the internal flights included and 31 total meals, 11 breakfasts, 10 lunches, and 10 dinners supplied during your vacation. You will sail the Drake Passage and explore Patagonia, known as the “End of the World.” You can also add a Buenos Aires 4 day guided group experience in the Argentinian capital to this adventure. The minimum age for this voyage is 10, but recommended for 12 and up.
They have also added 5 new adventures in 2022 that include the Galapagos Islands. Like the Antarctica adventure, it will have land and sea portions, but the sea portion will be on smaller ships to allow access to remote areas inaccessible to larger cruise ships.
This Adventures by Disney expedition will be 8 nights and 9 days, with stops at 8 locations in Ecuador and the Galapagos islands. This actually offers three different routes and options including hiking across black volcanic sand, snorkeling, kayaking, and seeing the twin craters at Santa Cruz among other exciting excursions. Travelers will receive 23 total meals, 8 breakfasts, 8 lunches, and 7 dinners. This adventure is recommended for guests 8 and over.
They will have staggered booking openings in January for expeditions as follows:
January 19, 2021: Adventure Insiders – previous Adventures by Disney Guests
January 21, 2021: Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line Platinum and Gold Castaway Club, and Golden Oak residents
January 22, 2021: General public
