Disney+ has announced their premiere dates for several Disney+ Original Series!
Here’s a look at what’s coming to Disney+ this year:
Loki – Series Premiere June 11
Following the success of WandaVision, yet another Marvel series is headed to Disney+ this year! Loki will focus on the mischievous MCU villain. The series is set to star Tom Hiddleston returning as Loki, as well as Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Series Premiere May 4
In honor of Star Wars Day, an all new Star Wars animated series will premiere on Disney+! Star Wars: The Bad Batch will focus on the experimental clones introduced in season 7 of The Clone Wars. The series will also star Ming-Na Wen’s character, Fennec, from The Mandalorian.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series – Season 2 Premiere May 14
The East High Wildcats are back in an all new season of singing, dancing, and drama! This time, the Wildcats will be rehearsing for their drama club’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Kate Reinders, Matt Cornett, Dara Reneé, Julia Lester, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Larry Saperstein and Mark St. Cyr are all set to return.
M0nsters At Work – Series Premiere July 2
“Monsters At Work” takes place the day after the Monsters, Incorporated power plant started harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis, thanks to Mike and Sulley’s discovery that laughter generates ten times more energy than screams.
It follows the story of Tylor Tuskmon, an eager young monster who graduated top of his class at Monsters University and always dreamed of becoming a Scarer, until he lands a job at Monsters, Incorporated and discovers that scaring is out and laughter is in.
Ben Feldman will star as Tylor Tuskmon. Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan (John Goodman) are set to return.
Big Shot – Series Premiere April 16
A temperamental college basketball coach who gets fired from his job and must take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school. “Big Shot” stars John Stamos, Jessalyn Gilsig, Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Eve Custodio, Cricket Wampler and Yvette Nicole Brown.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers – Series Premiere March 26
After failing to make the cut to join the now powerhouse Mighty Ducks junior hockey team, 12-year-old Evan’s mother encourages him to form a new team of underdogs with help from Gordon Bombay, the Ducks’ original coach. Lauren Graham and Emilio Estevez are set to star.
