Disney Set to Ban Selfie Sticks in All Parks

Disney is set to ban all Selfie Sticks on the heels of Disneyland having to shut down California Screamin’ because a guest used it while the coaster was in motion. The ban is set to go into effect by July 1st.

Disney will increase cast members at the bag check to assist in the screening for selfiesticks.  If a guest is found with one they have two options, one keep the stick and leave the park or the cast member will take the selfie stick and give the guest a ticket to claim it at the end of the their visit to the park.
