In-Person runDisney Races Return to Walt Disney World

In-person runDisney Races are returning to Walt Disney World this fall.

After a year of virtual meetings, virtual visits and… yes, virtual races… Disney is in the early planning stages to once again welcome back the runDisney family to the Most Magical Place on Earth. And it’s just in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. Beginning this fall, Disney is kicking off their 2021/2022 runDisney race season in person, beginning with Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend in November!

This year, some of your favorite villains are back for another wickedly delicious good time during the 2021 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend powered by AfterShokz! Only this time, you’ll experience the ghoulish fun at Walt Disney World Resort — right at the start of The World’s Most Magical Celebration! This year’s menu will satisfy your cravings, whether it’s your first or 50th race. For those hungry for a little extra kick, there’s the Two Course Challenge that’s guaranteed to keep you running. Plus, you can keep things cookin’ at an after-hours Post-Race Party for runners and registered guests!

The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend runs from November 5 – November 7. Club runDisney Gold and Platinum registration begins July 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time and general registration opens July 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.

runDisney will still be holding virtual races for the same dates as the in-person races.

From January 6 – January 9, Walt Disney World is holding a marathon weekend inspired by the 50th anniversary celebration. Club runDisney Gold & Platinum registration opens for this race on July 20. General registration for in-person races opens July 27. General Registration for virtual races opens July 30. Registration opens at 10:00 AM EST for all three dates.
