Disney is giving Muppet fans something to look forward to on February 19, 2021. All 5 season of The Muppet Show, which debuted almost 45 years ago, will be coming to Disney+! This is truly an exciting time as seasons 4 or 5 were never released for home entertainment.
According to Disney, Kermit had this to say about the release:
“It’s going to be great to welcome back longtime fans, and to give a new generation of fans a chance to see how we got our start, how Miss Piggy became a star and so much more. Today, I’m proud to say: ‘It’s time to play the music, light the lights and meet the Muppets on Disney Plus tonight!’”
As for Statler and Waldorf, the two old hecklers in the balcony, I can only add: “Sorry, guys, but….here we go again.”
All 5 seasons of The Muppet Show will be available to stream on Disney+ February 19.
