Be Our Guest Dinner Review

Written by Marci Moore & Stephanie Forrester

Major celebrations call for a bougie meal. Dinner at Be Our Guest is an opulent experience filled with sights, sounds, and tastes beyond compare. Flanked beast statues set the tone and welcome you to an enchanted castle feast.

Inside Beast’s Castle, there are three differently themed dining rooms that immediately transport you inside this classic fairy tale. The West Wing is a dark, gloomy lair where the enchanted rose resides inside the beast’s domain. You may even hear sounds of thunder and see flashes of lightning to set the scene.

The Castle Gallery is a bright, inviting space accentuated by a dancing figurine of the beloved Beauty and the Beast in the center of Belle’s library.

The Grand Ballroom has breathtakingly high archways and domed ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers. The beast himself will make a guest appearance and greet guests in all three rooms during your meal.

Recently, Be Our Guest has adapted to a prix fixe menu offering dinner as a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert trio. I chose the center cut filet mignon with a red wine glaze, and Stephanie ordered the pan seared sea scallops with risotto. Both entrees exceeded our expectations.

In celebration of Stephanie’s birthday, our “serveur” surprised us with a Mickey-shaped version of the famous grey stuff. It was the perfect addition to our dessert trio which included a lemon jam macaron, a white chocolate “Chip” cup and a dark chocolate truffle. The white chocolate “Chip” cup stole our hearts and our taste buds.

This immersive French dining experience is truly straight out of a fairy tale. After your culinary cabaret, you may find yourself singing along with Lumiere, “Course by course, one by one, ‘til you shout, “Enough! I’m done!”
